APS uses community-based services and resources and other support systems while protecting the at-risk adult's right to confidentiality, self-determination, and least-restrictive intervention.
The Division of Housing (DOH) partners with local communities to create housing opportunities for Coloradans who face the greatest challenges to accessing affordable, safe, and secure homes. DOH supports projects ranging from homelessness prevention to homeownership
The Colorado Commission on Aging (CCOA) was established under the authority of the Older Coloradans Act Section 26-11-101, C.R.S. to serve as the primary advisory body on all matters affecting older persons.
Aging and Disability Resources for Colorado (ADRC) is a visible and trusted source of information on the full range of long-term services and support options available to older adults.
The Colorado Attorney General is dedicated in protecting Colorado consumers and businesses against fraud by upholding the various laws designed to maintain a fair and competitive business environment while protecting consumers from being targets of fraud. Whether scammers are attempting to concoct elaborate investment schemes, to bait-and switch advertising, to lender and elderly fraud, the various Criminal and Civil Units within the office are devoted to keeping Coloradans safe.
CHFA strengthens Colorado by investing in affordable housing and community development. We offer financial resources to strengthen homeownership, affordable rental housing, and businesses.
The Colorado Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard-working Colorado families, seniors and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs.
The Colorado Office of Public Guardianship (OPG) shall provide guardianship services; gather data to help the general assembly determine the need for, and the feasibility of, a statewide office of public guardianship; and that the office is a pilot program, to be evaluated and then continued, discontinued, or expanded at the discretion of the general assembly in 2023.
The Mission of the Colorado OPG is to provide guardianship services for indigent and incapacitated adults when other guardianship possibilities are exhausted. If Colorado adults lack willing and appropriate family or friends, resources to compensate a private guardian, and access to public service organizations that offer guardianship, the Colorado OPG provides guardianship services to secure the health and safety of these individuals while safeguarding their individual rights and preserving their independence wherever possible.

The State Unit on Aging serves older Coloradans with aging and disability resources, nutrition services, legal assistance, support services, employment services and caregiver support.
StopFraudColorado.gov has been developed by the Consumer Protection Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office to support our mission of protecting consumers and businesses from the unscrupulous behavior of fraudsters operating throughout our state.
