Senior Adults Program
The Senior Adults Program is operated by the Carbon Valley Park and Recreation District. The CVPRD Senior Center Program, with nearly 200 members, provide a variety of fun activities and events, including fitness, wellness, education, and social opportunities.
Membership. Membership rates include low fare bus trips, discounted lunch rates, free fitness and water aerobic classes every Friday, unlimited use of adult facility, and 25% off Rec Center fees.
- $50/annually/person for District residents
- $70/annually/person for out-of-District residents
Wednesday Luncheons. Each Wednesday luncheons are offered at the Senior Center beginning at noon. Seniors must call 303-833-2739 by 1 p.m. the Tuesday before if they plan to be at lunch. Call in cancelations must be made by 1 p.m. the Tuesday prior otherwise there will be a lunch charge.
Weld County Nutrition Lunch Program. Each Tuesday and Thursday the County’s Senior Nutrition Program provides noon-time meals for seniors at the Carbon Valley Rec Center. Seniors must call 303-833-3660 a day in advance by 11:00 a.m. to register.
