Project Support started in 1976. We are a 501 (c) (3) that provides senior services for the Clear Creek County area. These services include hot lunches Monday-Friday in partnership with Volunteers of America, low-cost senior housing, and a senior center. To support our activities, we operate the Queen’s Wardrobe Thrift Shop. Project Support also partners with Volunteers of America providing space and facilities to support Meals on Wheels delivery in our coverage area.
Here at the Project Support Senior Center we provide a wide range of activities such as wellness clinics, movie nights, cards game clubs, informational presentations, exercise classes and much more!
Project Support houses 14 low-cost senior living apartments. These independent living, 1-bedroom apartments provide affordable living space to seniors of Clear Creek County.
Transportation, Nutrition Services, Meals on Wheels
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge of nutrition. Our partner, Volunteers of America, helps to fulfill this mission goal. This group provides transportation for doctor visits, grocery shopping and recreational trips. They provide congregate meals at lunchtime here and at the Georgetown Community Center. Through the Meals on Wheels program, VOA delivers hot meals Monday through Friday.
